About the chapel...
Noted for its unique modern architecture and location on cliffs above the Pacific Ocean, the Wayfarers Chapel is part of the Swedenborgian Church of North America. The church was designed by Lloyd Wright (son of Frank Lloyd Wright) in the late 1940s and built between 1949 and 1951. Additions in later years include a tower and visitor center. As with many of Wright's buildings, the chapel features geometric designs and incorporates the natural landscape into the design. The Wayfarers Chapel is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

About the ceremony...
The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00 p.m.  Guests are welcome to arrive as early as 1:00 p.m.  The grounds are small, but beautiful... feel free to walk around and enjoy them beforehand.  Just please do not arrive prior to 1:00 p.m. because the chapel will be in use by another group.  The ceremony will last approximately 20-30 minutes.  Afterwards, the wedding party will be called for pictures.  Everyone else is free to enjoy the grounds or head over to Terranea Resort for cocktails and hors d'ouevres.  We need to leave the chapel by 3:00 p.m. to make room for the next group.
